Carrer del Golf de Cadis, marked in caramel, runs straight down to the shore.

A neighbourhood of gulfs and islands

The streets around here are named after the sea: Golf de Cadis, Golf d'Alacant, Golf de Lleó, Illa de Còrsega, Illa de Xipre. You live inside an atlas without noticing. Ours is the Gulf of Cádiz, number 6.

On foot from Portixol

Along the seafront promenade heading east. At the Club Marítimo of es Molinar, walk two streets up and you are there.

By bike

The promenade runs right along the water all the way here. From central Palma it is about four flat kilometres.

By car

There is no car park of our own; you park on the street in the neighbourhood. Mid-morning that is harder than at eight.

Inside AntoJo's: stone wall, wicker lamps and the counter at the back

The room

A bright shop with an exposed stone wall, wicker lamps and plants somebody actually waters. Small tables inside and a terrace that catches the morning sun.

No bookings. You come in, look at the cabinet and decide there — which is how breakfast ought to be decided anyway.

Still to confirmHow many tables the terrace holds and whether they can be pushed together for a group. It is the question that arrives most often by message.
